Mission and values
The SPG is a non-profit, public-service scientific association that has been fostering the development of digestive health at the service of the Portuguese public since 1989. It encourages research in the field of gastroenterology and establishes contacts and national and international exchanges between professionals linked to the speciality. The SPG also provides educational activities for health professionals and the general public and offers consultancy services in this specialty.
The SPG’s mission is to:
